Wildlife

Georgia's varied landscape provides habitats for a vast array of wildlife species. The Wildlife Resources Division works to protect this valuable part of our natural history. The division's Nongame Conservation Section manages the native diversity of nongame animals, rare plants and natural habitats through education, research and management, striving to increase public understanding and enjoyment of these resources.
