Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to authority contained in the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, Secs. 12-2-1, 12-2-2, 12-2-24 and 50-13-3, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources proposes to amend Rule 391-1-1.01, pertaining to Organization, and repeal Rule 391-1-1-.02, pertaining to Description and Duties of the Commissioner's Office and Divisions.  Please click the title above to access a PDF of the public notice.

Hunting Regulations Process

The Wildlife Resources Division proposes hunting regulations on a 2-year cycle to the Board of Natural Resources.  This article provides a brief time line regarding this regulatory process.
