Purchase, Reprint and Obtain Licenses and Recreational Passes
Three ways to obtain your license or pass
Be sure to enter your email address when buying or reprinting a license. We will email a renewal reminder before your annual license expires. Renew early and save $2.75 on your annual license!
All turkey and deer hunters, including those under 16 years of age, landowners, honorary, lifetime, and sportsman license holders, are required to have a Harvest Record for the current season, EVEN if they are not required to purchase any license or a big game license, or their big game license has not expired. Additionally, all harvest must be reported within 72 hours through Georgia Game Check.
HIP License (Migratory Bird License):
A HIP License is required for any person with a license that hunts migratory birds (doves, ducks, geese, woodcock, snipe, coots, rails or gallinules).
Unlike a hunting license, the Deer Harvest Record and the HIP License are not valid for a 12-month period but instead are only valid for a single season. Hunters must obtain a new Harvest Record or HIP License each season.
SIP Permit (Saltwater Information Program Permit):
A free SIP Permit is required for any person 16 years of age or older to fish in saltwater in Georgia. Unlike fishing and hunting licenses, the SIP permit is not valid for a 12-month period but instead is only valid for a single season and must be renewed on March 1 or later each year. More information about the SIP Program.

A transaction fee will be added to each transaction. Multiple licenses may be purchased during a single transaction. Transaction fees are $2.50 online, $3.00 at retail license agents, and $5.00 over the telephone.
