State Personnel Administration Exam

Applicants must pass a written examination, which is administered by the State Personnel Administration in several locations around the state. These locations are listed below. Depending on the exam score, an applicant may be contacted to continue the employment process.

Applicants for Conservation Ranger positions must be available and willing to work anywhere in the state of Georgia.  Assignments vary from county responsibilities to boating safety positions on lakes and reservoirs and coastal saltwater.

Locations for the State Personnel Administration Exam

Atlanta:
200 Piedmont Ave., Suite 418
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Tuesday and Thursday of every month - 8:30 am and 1 pm

Augusta:
3rd Friday of each month

Albany:
2nd Wednesday of each month

Columbus:
2nd Thursday of each month

Gainesville:
2nd Thursday of each month

Macon:
3rd Monday of each month

Rome:
3rd Saturday of each month

Statesboro:
4th Friday of each month

Valdosta:
1st Friday of each month
