Cpl. Ashe with GA NWTF President Greg BrownOver several months in 2009, Cpl. Ashe, with assistance from Cpl. Barry Britt and RFC Rodney Horne, conducted an investigation that revealed the illegal taking of 27 wild turkeys. The case also involved multiple suspects and stretched across several counties. The dedication that Cpl. Ashe demonstrated during the investigation resulted in ending a string of poaching that was taking a severe toll on the local turkey population.
