Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center
2012 Summer CampsWild Summer Days camps are so much fun that your kids won’t even know they’re learning, and now we are accredited by the American Camp Association! Our day camp offers children, ages 7-10 years old, the chance to explore the outdoors in a fun, safe and beautiful setting. DAY CAMP SESSIONSDay camp costs only $120 per child and runs Tuesday-Friday from 9:30 am - 3 pm. Although we are always trying new things at camp, all sessions will still include fishing, wildlife-themed games, live animal programs, hikes and nature exploration. Animal Adventures (6 - 7 years old): This fun-filled week gives campers the chance to discover the amazing world of animals and their habitats through games and exploration. Pond scooping and wildlife watching are just a few of the fun activities that will round out our adventures.
Wild Wisdom (8 – 10 years old): This session gives campers the chance to follow in Charlie Elliott’s footsteps. Along with the usual hikes and games, we’ll have loads of fun as we explore the outdoors and gain wilderness skills such as archery, shelter building, and animal tracking.
