Fish Consumption Guidelines
Guidelines for Eating Fish from Georgia WatersGuidelines for Eating Fish from Georgia Waters
More information on the Georgia Fish Consumption Guidelines and testing program may be found on the Georgia EPD website.
Fish consumption guidelines are also available in the annual "Georgia Sportfishing Regulations" guide available statewide at license dealers and online. Please note that some lakes and rivers listed do not have any restrictions indicating that the fish from those areas have been tested and found to contain little or no contamination. If the lake or stream where you fish is listed in the table, it is safe to eat the amount listed for a given species in that specific body of water.
