Why DNR needs your Social Security Number (SSN)

Under OCGA Title 19-11-9.1(a.1), anyone purchasing any commercial, professional or recreational licenses or permits must furnish their Social Security number prior to the purchase of any such license or permit.

ATTENTION! Hunters Must Have Deer Harvest Record

A deer harvest record is required for anyone who hunts deer. Unlike a hunting license, the Deer Harvest Record is not valid for a 12-month period-it only is valid for a single deer season. Hunters must obtain a new Harvest Record each deer season.
